Daya Gonsalkorale - Senior Structural Engineer
B.Sc (Eng), MIE (S.L), MIStructE, FIE (Aust), CPEng
Mr Gonsalkorale has a wealth of experience in the design, documentation, construction and project management of building structures in many countries (four in fact - Sri Lanka, England, Nigeria and Australia); in reinforced and pre-stressed concrete, structural steel, load bearing masonry and timber.
The structures that he has been involved in range from simple to luxury residential buildings through hospitals, five star hotels, schools, sporting complexes, multi-storey office and apartment complexes, shopping malls to warehouses.
He has held senior positions in many of the organizations that he has worked for where he has been responsible not only for the technical aspect of the projects that he has been involved in but also in the management of these projects both in terms of cost and in terms of time. |
